CCA issues a call for presentations to the July Melbourne conference

CCA has issued its first “Call for Papers” for the annual conference, to take place in Melbourne from 25-27 July 2017.  We are looking for innovative presentations and ideas that will engage the conference attendees, who will come from all around Australia and overseas.  While we are interested in presentations that deal with the conference theme of “Community Education: Investing in Our Future”, all presentations that deal with community education will be considered.  For more details, go to the Conference website and fill in the presentation form. Proposals are due on 14 April 2017, however presenters are urged to submit early as submissions will be reviewed progressively.

The conference will be held at Citadines on Bourke, located in Melbourne’s dynamic “east end”, an entertainment precinct in what many agree is “the world’s most liveable city”.  The district has one of Australia’s best selection of restaurants, laneway bars, new and used bookshops, boutique clothing shops, nightclubs, hotels, and other entertainment venues. The hotel is walking distance to numerous parks, historic buildings and theatres, which host blockbuster musicals, drama, live music, children’s shows, comedy and festivals.  Click here for more details about the conference venue and accommodation.
