Community Education Student of the Year Awards 2021

Community Colleges Australia (CCA) is pleased to announce its fifth annual “Community Education Student of the Year Awards”.

Eligibility: This year’s nominations are students who have undertaken formal study with an Australian not-for-profit community education organisation during the period 1 September 2020 through 31 August 2021, with nominations submitted through their community education provider.

Judging: Decisions on the Award winner/s will be based on the nominating organisation’s nomination, based on the judging criteria of career and study achievements; communication, team and leadership skills development; and achievements in areas other than study and work, including community involvement. Prizes: Cash prizes will be awarded to all winners and shortlisted nominees, amounts to be confirmed.

CCA welcomes all nominations, not only from member organisations. There is no nomination fee and no age limit, although nominated students need to be at least 18 years old by 31 August 2021.

Due date: Please submit nomination forms by Monday 11 October 2021, preferably in Microsoft Word format, as email attachment(s) to admin@cca.edu.au, marked “2021 Student of The Year Nomination”.

Notification: Shortlisted entrants will be notified as soon as possible after the closing date through their nominating organisation.

Student of the Year Awards Presentation 2019

The Awards will take place in a virtual event during November 2020. (Students do not need to participate in the Awards event to receive an award.)

The CCA Community Education Student of the Year Awards logo celebrates student achievement and symbolises the myriad possibilities and opportunities that learning provides. The triangle at the base of the figure represents the boost provided by the ACE provider, which supports and facilitates student confidence and learning. The multi-shaded vertical parallel lines, reaching upwards, embody the students’ potential and choice of pathways as they journey through life.
