Emma Gleeson

Emma Gleeson is the Assistant Secretary of the Aged Care Workforce Branch within the Department of Health. Prior to this, she was the Assistant Secretary of the Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Branch for over three years.   Emma has over twenty years’ experience in the public sector, beginning as a graduate in the APS in 2000 in the Department of Health.  She has subsequently held positions in the policy areas of employment, health and sport including over five years with the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.  Emma has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Melbourne and a Masters of Legal Studies from University of Canberra.
