  3. Incorporation requirements have been removed

The Minister has also today announced that there will be a new industry lead advisory group to continue evaluation the following 3 priorities:

  1. Streamlining governance arrangements around VET

We are also pleased to advise that the ASQA policy review, that CCA was also involved with, has been announced today. Please note that the Minister has advised that fees as regulated by ASQA have not yet been increased in 2015. The Minister is not convinced that full cost recovery is necessary for the regulator. The document is available via this link.

The Minister remains highly committed to a quality system which offers choice for students. The Commonwealth remains committed to working with the States to ensure that VET quality goals are clear. He seeks a more dynamic and productive VET sector focused on job outcomes at the end of training.
