Community Colleges Australia (CCA) has elected three new Directors at its Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on Wednesday 14 November in Sydney.
The three Directors elected at the AGM are:
- Joanne (Jo) Martin, CEO of Central Coast Community College (pictured), a new addition to the Board of Directors;
- Michelle Simpson, CEO of Tamworth Community College, re-elected for a second three-year term; and
- David MacKay, CEO of Tuggerah Lakes Community College, also re-elected for a second three-year term.
These Directors join the continuing Board, including David Fuller (CCA Chair, & CEO of WEA Illawarra), Theresa Collignon (CEO, Macquarie Community College), Ron Maxwell (CEO of VERTO), Jennifer Aldred (Senior Manager of Finance and Funded Programs, Sydney Community College), Valerieanne Byrnes (CEO, Port Macquarie Community College) and Danielle Bensley (CEO, The Parramatta College).
At the AGM, CCA Chair David Fuller paid tribute to John O'Neill, formerly Executive Manager, Education Services with The Deaf Society, who served as a CCA Director until he left the Society in August 2018.
