CCA co-sponsors lunchtime US election seminar with WEA Sydney

Community Colleges Australia (CCA) has co-organised a lunchtime seminar on the upcoming US election in the Sydney CBD with WEA Sydney.  The session, entitled “America's Choice 2016: Who Will Win and Why”, features skilled political analyst Bruce Wolpe, speaking on Monday 10 October in the Sydney CBD.  Bruce is a former US Congressional senior staff member, author of a book on lobbying US Congress and currently the Chief of Staff to former Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

“Bruce Wolpe is a real insider to the political process,” said Dr Don Perlgut, CCA’s CEO.  “He is only one of a tiny handful of people who have worked so deeply in both the United States and the Australian political systems.  He has been widely acknowledged for his insights and expertise through his regular appearances on ABC TV and Sky News, and through his current ABC News opinion pieces.”

“Bruce Wolpe is truly one of the best translators of US politics to Australians.  This is a one-off opportunity to hear him speak in person,” Dr Perlgut said.  “CCA is pleased to co-sponsor this unique educational session.”

The Wolpe session runs from 12.15pm to 1.15pm on Monday 10 October at WEA Sydney, 72 Bathurst Street, Sydney, part of WEA Sydney’s popular “Politics at Lunchtime” series.

Register for the “America's Choice 2016: Who Will Win and Why” session with Bruce Wolpe.
