The CCA Annual Conference – running this year from 18 to 20 October – has achieved a record number of sponsors and exhibitors, with 12 organisations supporting the event.
“This unprecedented level of support from sponsors and exhibitors at the CCA Sydney conference is a good indication of the vitality and importance of the community education sector,” said Dr Don Perlgut, CEO of Community Colleges Australia.
“Community education organisations provide training to more than 200,000 Australian vocational education and training (VET) students each year, and a large number of organisations value their relationships with community-based providers,” Dr Perlgut said.
This year the major sponsor is the Australian Government Department of Education and Training, which is supporting the conference through a Strategic Partnerships Grant. In addition to that Department, CCA’s long-term sponsor, Coverforce Insurance Brokers, continues its support.
Gold sponsors and exhibitors at this year’s conference include Didasko Learning Resources and Hill Rogers accountants and auditors.
Silver sponsors and exhibitors include the VET Development Centre, Watsonia Publishing, Copyright Agency, “ish On Course”, Appcon online learning, Cloud Assess, aXcelerate and 4community.
